How can we help you?
We make sense.
Making our towns,
cities and communities better places and giving the people who live
there better prospects can be incredibly complex. We can help make
sense of it.
We create learning programmes and materials. We
write words that communicate clearly and accurately. We design
eye-catching publications. All our work is about helping you work
better.
NS+ was created by the
founders of New Start magazine to offer you high quality editorial and
communications services. We provide:
- An unrivalled understanding of regeneration and communities, underpinned by detailed knowledge of policy and practice
- The ability to analyse and communicate complex concepts simply, clearly, creatively and accurately
- The skills, talent and connections of creative professionals from a wide range of disciplines.
Our
network of associates covers the full range of editorial and publishing
services - researching, writing, editing and designing reports,
brochures and magazines. We can create and edit web content and design
websites; deliver top quality photography and graphic design; offer
public relations and marketing services; and generate audio and video
material.
We also bring together talented, experienced
professionals to create opportunities for regeneration practitioners to
learn from each other. We seek to communicate what has worked, and the
challenges that have been overcome, so best practice can be adapted for
new situations.
Our team, led by New Start editorial director Julian Dobson,
can work with you to get your message across in the most appropriate
and cost-effective way. We pride ourselves on the New Start approach:
accurate, clear and creative, with the aim of offering speed,
flexibility, and value for money in all our services.
But don't take our word for it. This is what some of the people we've worked with say about us:

evaluation [of our work in Wigan] is a very useful tool which we are
all positive about. The trustees were pleased with it and it has
informed and immediately impacted on the way we function.' (Stephen
Kearney, chief executive, Re:generate)

practice forums] has really helped Leeds and Bradford authorities to
work together and to think creatively about the regeneration problems
we both face.'

we are really pleased with the intelligence reports they have produced
for us.’ (Phil Barton, former chief executive, RENEW Northwest)'Their
service was always friendly and co-operative – and the work was
completed on time and on budget.' (Shaun Harley, communications and
